Notes: Stonehill, receiving votes in this week's D2SIDA East Regional poll, enters tonight's game looking to put an end to a string of three straight losses. The Skyhawks rank third in the Northeast-10 for scoring (68.1 ppg) and field goal percentage (.417), while ranking second for free-throw percentage (.768), third for assists per game (13.5), eighth in rebound margin (+4.2) and ninth for three-point percentage (.309). On the defensive side, the Skyhawks are 12th in scoring defense (63.6 ppg), 14th in field goal percentage defense (.401) and 15th in three-point percentage defense (.335). Junior Kelly Martin (Scituate, Mass.) leads Stonehill with 14.7 points per game (6th NE-10), shooting 42.4-percent from the field and 84.6% (55-65) at the free-throw line (4th), with 5.5 rebounds, four assists (4th) and 1.6 steals per game this season. Senior Paige Marshall (Braintree, Mass.) adds 14.1 points (10th) on 51.4-percent shooting (3rd), including a Northeast-10-best 59% (23-39) from three-point range, converting 78.8% (41-52) of her free-throws with 3.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists (6th) per game. Notes: New Haven enters tonight's game also looking to put an end to a three game slide, having dropped five of its last seven after an 84-72 decision to nationally-ranked Bentley on Saturday. Senior Briana Bradford (Waterbury, Conn.) scored 25 points to lead the Chargers, while classmate Lauren Hebert (North Reading, Mass.) added a career-high 21. Bradford was 10-for-19 from the field, including 3-for-10 from three-point range and 2-for-6 at the free-throw line to go with five rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Hebert shot 7-for-14 overall, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, converting 5-of-6 free-throws with five boards, two assists and three steals. Bradford is averaging a team-high 18.2 points per game on 42.1-percent shooting from the field, converting 72.6% (61-84) of her free-throws with 3.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals, while Hebert contributes 12.8 points, shooting 88.1% (37-42) from the line, with 6.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per outing. Freshman Alexandria Kerr (Montclair, N.J.) rounds out the Chargers double-figure scorers with 10.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.1 steals per contest. New Haven ranks fourth in the NE-10 for scoring (66.9 ppg), while ranking 12th for field goal percentage (.382) and three-point percentage (.293) and 14th for free-throw percentage (.644). The Chargers commit the fewest turnovers per game in the NE-10 (14.2), ranking fifth for steals per game (8.6) and rank 14th for scoring defense (65.1 ppg), sixth in three-point percentage defense (.284) and 15th for field goal percentage defense (.405).
