  • Senior Omar El Sheikh opened the second half scoring to pull Assumption back within two, but Stonehill reeled off the next nine points, sparked by a Chose three-pointer and led by four points by Burnett, to open an 11-point cushion (37-26) three minutes in.
  • A six-point Stonehill burst, including four by Chose, extended its lead to 15 (45-30) at the midpoint of the half, after two Chose free-throws.
  • Stonehill kept Assumption at bay over the next seven minutes until a six-point Greyhounds spurt, keyed by a Glover three-pointer, drew the hosts back within four (60-56) when he split two free-throws with 63-seconds remaining.
  • Stonehill closed out its second-straight win with 5-of-6 shooting at the free-throw line to reclaim a nine-point lead (65-56) with 15-seconds to play, before Gaiter scored the final basket of the day for the final margin.
