Equestrian Finishes Fourth Overall at Endicott Show

EAST KINGSTON, N.H. (November 4, 2022)- The Stonehill College equestrian team competed at the Endicott College Show at the Turning Point Show Stables in East Kingston, N.H., where the Skyhawks took home a fourth-place finish in the team standings.

Highlights

  • Senior Sarah Herring, junior Madeline Ahern, and sophomore Hannah Tetrault took home the first-place finishes in their respective events.
  • Herring and Ahern each finished atop the podium in the open fences event before finishing back-to-back – second and third – in open flat, while Tetreault took home the first-place ribbon in limit flats.
  • Senior Lindsey Simmons finished as the runner-up in intermediate fences before taking home a top-five finish in limit flats. 
  • Junior Grace Faddoul earned the second-place ribbon in the intermediate fences event, while junior Emma Worster, senior Kelly Morrissey, and senior Kaitlyn Gilson rounded out the top-three finishers for the Skyhawks.
  • Worster finished second overall in intermediate flat, while Morrissey finished as the runner-up in introductory and Gilson earned a spot on the podium in pre-novice.
  • Senior Hadley Gilmartin took home a top-five finish in her novice division debut.
  • Freshman Lauren Eager rounded out the Stonehill riders on the day, finishing fourth overall in the limit fences event.
