Recorded a game-winning assist at Saint Michael's (10/1). Registered two more assists, one at Adelphi (10/8) and the other versus Le Moyne (10/15).

2015-16:

Appeared in 17 games his sophomore year, starting in 13 of them. Registered two assists in the season-opener versus Saint Michael's (9/4). Added another asssist at Daemen College (9/11). Scored Stonehill's only goal in a 3-1 loss versus Saint Rose (9/15). Recorded an assist at a 3-0 win versus New Haven (10/24).

2014-15: 
NE10 All-Rookie team selection. 
Catholic Cup All-Tournament team.
Appeared in all 18 games for Stonehill during his freshman campaign, starting nine of them. Finished third on the team in points (12) and tied for second in goals (5). Scored a goal in his first collegiate game in a 3-0 victory over Assumption (9/5). Registered the lone goal in a 1-0 win against Saint Anselm (9/16). Recorded a four-game point steak from 9/12-9/20. Registered a season-high three points against Adelphi, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist (9/20). Scored the game tying goal in the 74th minute against Roberts Wesleyan in a 1-1 draw (9/12).

High School: 2014 graduate of Guilderland High School in Guilderland, N.Y. Two-year starter for coach Mike Kinnally. Team went a combined 34-10 during his junior and senior seasons.  Named first team All-Suburban Council, first team All-Area, and first team All-Large School as a senior for a team that went 18-4. Played club soccer with FC Dutchmen.

Personal: Born February 27, 1996 in Rutland, Vt. Son of Deb O'Brien and Tom O'Brien. Has a sister, Clare. Chose Stonehill because of the beautiful campus, and because it provided what he was looking for both in academics and athletics. Lists his favorite team as New York Liberty and his favorite player as Lionel Messi. Majoring in business.
