Now entering his seventh campaign as Head Ice Hockey Coach at Stonehill College, Scott Harlow has enjoyed great success and accolades as the Skyhawks have established themselves as a top threat in Northeast-10 Conference circles. In his first six seasons on the job, Harlow has established himself as the winningest coach in school history with 67 triumphs, including a pair of school-record tying 14-win seasons in 2001-2002 and again last winter, and Stonehill has enjoyed solid post-season runs during that time span as well.

Harlow has enjoyed success in any endeavor he has ventured in, whether it be as an All-America player at Boston College or as the Head Ice Hockey Coach at Stonehill. He has led his squad to berths in the ECAC Division II and Northeast-10 Conference semi-finals in 2001, 2002, 2004 and again last season in a year that also saw the Skyhawks post the longest winning streak in school history, a nine-game skein that lasted from mid-December through early February. Harlow has coached 11 league all-stars and all-New England performers during his tenure, including two-time league Player of the Year Rob Pascale '04 and last year's Northeast-10 Freshman of the Year Brendan O'Brien '06, and he has been honored by his peers on three occasions as the Northeast-10/ECAC Division II Coach of the Year, first in back-to-back campaigns in 2001 and 2002 and once again after last year's school record performance.

A resident of Bridgewater, Mass., Harlow was an All-America forward at Boston College and guided the Eagles to a pair of Hockey East championships in the mid 1980's. He ranks as Boston College's third all-time leading scorer, as he amassed 105 goals and 118 assists for 223 points in 149 games with the Eagles. Harlow ranks behind only former Hobey Baker Award winner David Emma and All-America standout Brian Gionta on the all-time scoring list at The Heights, while his goal and assist totals place him fourth and fifth, respectively, on Boston College's career lists. A two-time all-New England selection, Harlow was named to the 1985-86 America Hockey Coaches Association All-America team as a senior and was the recipient of the Walter Brown Award as the outstanding American born player in New England that same season. Scott led the Eagles to a pair of Hockey East regular season crowns in both 1984-85 and 1985-86, as he played for legendary Boston College coach Len Ceglarski.

A 1986 graduate of Boston College with a degree in economics, Harlow played in four National Hockey League organizations (Montreal, St. Louis, Boston and Los Angeles) and a year with the Peterborough (England) Pirates. Scott served for four years as the Executive Director of the New England College Development League and additionally served as head coach and general manager of the Bay State Sharks. He also established Scott Harlow Sports Inc., a company that operates both a summer hockey school and all-sports camp.
