Michelle Thornhill led the Skyhawks with 3.00 kills per set this season

Thornhill Makes All-Conference and All-Rookie Team                                                             

Easton, Mass. - Freshman Michelle Thornhill (Canyon Lake, Calif.) was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team as announced by the conference on Saturday. 

Thornhill hit .220 for the Skyhawks this season and led the team with 2.98 kills per set.  She also was second on the team in digs with 2.49 per set and aces with .41 per set.  The freshman set a career high with 20 kills twice within a two week span and also had a career high 17 digs in a four set loss to Merrimack earlier this season. 

The Skyhawks finished their season 21-11, for their best record in 11 years.  Their win over AIC in the NE-10 quarterfinals marked the program's fourth conference tournament win in school history.
