SMITHFIELD, R.I.-- Senior Jessica Cegarra (Danville, N.H.) notched 18 kills to lead Bryant to a 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference volleyball victory over Stonehill by game scores of 30-27, 30-20 and 30-21 Tuesday evening at the Chace Center.

Freshman Julie Geonnotti (St. Louis Park, Minn.) added 12 kills in the win for the host Bulldogs (15-12, 7-0 Northeast-10), who also received 38 set assists from senior Elysce Tackmann (Riverside, R.I.) and 13 digs from sophomore Delia Glover (Marston Mills, Mass.).

Sophomore Heidi Woerner (North Kingstown, R.I.) recorded nine kills in the setback for the visiting Skyhawks (4-14, 2-5 Northeast-10), who also received five kills each from junior Rebekah Saunders (Gilford, N.H.) and sophomore Katherine Masson (Acushnet, Mass.). Freshman Kristen Hordern (Swansea, Mass.) chipped in with 22 set assists for Stonehill, which also received 13 digs from junior Tara Munch (West Islip, N.Y.).

Both squads will host Bryant in their next respective Northeast-10 outings, as Stonehill will take on the Golden Knights on Friday evening at Merkert Gymnasium beginning at 7:00 p.m. while Bryant will host Saint Rose on Saturday afternoon at the Chace Center beginning at 1:00 p.m.
