EASTON, Mass.-- Senior Lindsay Larson (Mission Viejo, Calif.) notched 21 kills and 26 digs to lead Merrimack to a 3-1 Northeast-10 Conference volleyball victory over Stonehill Tuesday evening by game scores of 30-27, 31-29, 28-30 and 30-21 in a league match played at Merkert Gymnasium.

Freshman Ale Kuncaitis (Canton, Mass.) added 15 kills in the triumph for the visiting Warriors (3-3, 2-1 Northeast-10), which also received 24 digs from junior Beth Houghton (Quincy, Mass.), 20 digs from junior Kerri McAleer (Floral Park, N.Y.) and 49 set assists from senior Kendall Rizzo (Chelmsford, Mass.).

Senior Doree Blanco (Warwick, R.I.) registered 18 kills and two service aces in the setback for the host Skyhawks (1-8, 0-2 Northeast-10), who opened their home schedule with the contest. Senior Lauren McNally (Ashland, Mass.) added 10 kills, while seniors Mollie Babcock (Gilford, N.H.) and Liane Kilmain (Mattapoisett, Mass.) combined for 43 set assists for Stonehill, which also received six total blocks from freshman Jackie Foster (Arlington, Mass.).

Stonehill hosts Post (Conn.) in a non-league match on Thursday evening at Merkert Gymnasium beginning at 7:00 p.m., while Merrimack hosts Dowling in a non-league match on Friday evening in North Andover, Mass. that also begins at 7:00 p.m.
