KUTZTOWN, Pa.-- The Stonehill volleyball team dropped four non-league matches over the weekend at the Kutztown Holiday Inn Center Challenge, as the Skyhawks fell by identical 3-0 scores to Saint Rose and Fairmont State (Va.) late Friday evening before dropping 3-0 finals to host Kutztown and New York Tech in action on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Doree Blanco (Warwick, R.I.) posted 40 kills on the weekend for Stonehill, which also received 95 set assists from senior Liane Kilmain (Mattapoisett, Mass.). Senior Kathleen Riley (Melrose, Mass.) chipped in with eight kills in the setback to Kutztown, while freshman Katherine Masson (Acushnet, Mass.) recorded a career-high 15 kills against New York Tech.

Stonehill, which stands at 1-7 overall on the season, opens its home schedule on Tuesday evening when the Skyhawks host Merrimack in a Northeast-10 Conference match at Merkert Gymnasium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
