Boston, Mass. - A strong performance from Jenny Gardynski (Everett, Mass./Everett) headlined another week for Stonehill's Women's Track & Field team at the New England Championships held at Boston University on Saturday.  The junior runner was one of many Skyhawk women to finish the games on a high note.

Gardynski finished eighth overall in the 5000 Meter Run.  Her time of 17:55.45 was just behind Bentley's Melissa Nash for the seventh spot.  Jenny's impressive finish earned her All-New England accolades in the event.

A team comprised of Hilary Curtis (Scarborough, Maine/Scarborough), Amanda Carnevale (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland), Amanda Santacroce (Danvers, Mass./Danvers) and Lindsey Booth (Franklin, Mass./Franklin) provided another bright spot for the young Stonehill team.  Their time of 9:33.40 set a new school record in the 4x 800.

The women return to action March 8th at the ECAC Championships.  The event will be held at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center at 12:00 p.m.
