CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Several individuals enjoyed outstanding performances for their respective Stonehill outdoor track and field teams at the M.I.T. Coed Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Derek Hebert (Rockland, Mass.) took first place in the long jump (6.61 meters) and second in the 400 meters (49.62) on the men's side for the Skyhawks, while sophomore Keith Gill (Brockton, Mass.) and freshman Kevin Wilkins (East Windsor, N.Y.) recorded first place performances in the 800 meters and triple jump, respectively, with marks of 1:54.75 and 12.76 meters. Junior Brandon Beloin (Danielson, Conn.) posted a pair of second place finishes in the 400 meter hurdles and javelin, respectively, with marks of 55.15 seconds and 49.19 meters, while junior Dana Burbank (North Andover, Mass.) added a second place effort in the high jump with a mark of 1.91 meters. Sophomore David Wasserman (East Hampton, Conn.) and freshman Matt Meagher (Mansfield, Mass.) recorded third place performances in the triple jump and 5,000 meters, respectively, for Stonehill with marks of 12.49 meters and 15:43.22.

On the women's side, junior Dana DeIngenis (Cranston, R.I.) was second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:19.82, while fellow junior Colleen Burbank (Dedham, Mass.) was second in the triple jump with a mark of 10.27 meters. Freshman Kristy Fuller (Franklin, Mass.) was third in the 100 meters for the Skyhawks with a time of 13.15 seconds.

Both Stonehill squads will compete next weekend both at the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia as well as the Brown Invitational next Sunday.
