Previous College: Played one year at Catawba College. Split time between #1 and #2 singles and was a 2009 All-South Atlantic Conference selection. Also played at #1 doubles.

High School: 2008 gradaute of St. Stephens Episcopal High School. Earned "Most Improved" award on the tennis team, and helped the team reach the state tournament. Also a letterwinner and two-time MVP in golf. Attended IMG Academy's Bollettieri Tennis Academy and Leadbetter Golf Academy.

Personal: Born August 8, 1989, in Gathersburg, Fla. Daughter of Khris and Larry Denyes of Palmetto, Fla. Father was a tennis pro at Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Majoring in early childhood education. Aspires to become a kindergarten teacher. Lists Roger Federer as a favorite athlete.
