2009: Named Northeast-10 First-Team All-Conference at No. 6 singles. Named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team. Appeared in 13 singles matches for Stonehill, going 12-1. Finished a perfect 7-0 in conference play. Had the game clinching match in the Skyhawks 5-4 win over Queens in the East Regional Final. Named to NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll (5/11).

High School: 2008 graduate of Wethersfield High School. Four-year letterwinner in tennis, serving as team captain her senior year. Four-time All-CCC West and All-Herald selection. Harford Courant All-State and All-Academic selection. Also a letterwinner in soccer. 

Personal: Born May 7, 1990 in Wethersfield, Conn. Daughter of David and Debra Simmons of Wethersfield, Conn. Has a brother, D.J. (22). Majoring philosophy. Greatest Sports Moment was beating Queens College to go to the Sweet 16 Finals in Orlando, Florida. Supports the University of Connecticut Huskies basketball team. Favorite athlete is Andy Roddick.
