EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill women's tennis team extended its winning streak to 11 straight and remained unbeaten in Northeast-10 Conference play by sweeping a 9-0 league dual-match decision from Saint Rose Sunday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts.

The host Skyhawks, now 13-1 overall and 10-0 in Northeast-10 action, are enjoying their longest winning streak in 14 years, as the 1992 squad posted a perfect 15-0 mark en route to the league title. Stonehill has won 26 of its last 30 matches dating back to 2005.

Seniors Jennifer Arcabascio (Salem, N.H.), Ashley Todd (Weymouth, Mass.) and Anna Walsh (Dennis, Mass.), along with sophomores Elise Clark (Spring Lake, N.J.), Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass.) and Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine), each posted wins in both singles and doubles play on the day for the Skyhawks, who dropped just 11 games on the afternoon, including just seven in six singles outings.

The visiting Golden Knights fall to 2-12 overall and 2-8 in Northeast-10 play with the setback.

Stonehill heads to Smithfield, R.I. on Tuesday afternoon for a showdown for first place in the Northeast-10 standings with Bryant beginning at 3:30 p.m., while Saint Rose travels to Worcester, Mass. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Assumption in a league dual-match that also begins at 3:30 p.m.
