COLCHESTER, Vt.-- The Stonehill women's tennis team reached double digits in the win column for the second straight season on Sunday afternoon by posting a 7-2 Northeast-10 Conference dual-match victory over Saint Michael's at the Tarrant Center.

Seniors Ashley Todd (Weymouth, Mass.) and Anna Walsh (Dennis, Mass.), along with sophomores Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass.) and Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine), were winners in both singles and doubles play for the visiting Skyhawks (10-1, 7-0 Northeast-10), who have won at 10 or more dual-matches in six of the last seven seasons. Granato teamed with senior Jennifer Arcabascio (Salem, N.H.) for an 8-5 win at number one doubles, while Todd and Walsh triumphed by an 8-2 final at the number two doubles spot. Bleakney teamed up with fellow sophomore Elise Clark (Spring Lake, N.J.) for an 8-5 win at the number three doubles position to account for Stonehill's other point.

Senior Heidi Murphy (Norfolk, Mass.) and sophomore Michelle Wood (Chatham, N.Y.) accounted for both points in the setback for the host Purple Knights (7-8, 5-4 Northeast-10) with straight set wins at the number one and three singles spots, respectively.

Stonehill hosts Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 dual-match on Tuesday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts beginning at 2:30 p.m., while Saint Michael's heads to Albany, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon to take on Saint Rose in a league outing at Noon.
