Manchester, N.H. – The Skyhawks couldn’t recover after trailing by two goals and fell to Southern New Hampshire 4-1, to lose their second straight game.

The Penman got on the board early with Sophia St. Paul scoring the first of her three goals on the evening.

Stonehill countered with six corner kicks in the first, but wasn’t able to get anything past keeper Stef Young as the half ended 1-0.

Five minutes into the second half Paul got on the board again to give Southern N.H. a two goal lead.

Freshman Alexandra Murphy (Weymouth, Mass.) cut the Penman lead in half 14 minutes later, however it would be short lived as Southern N.H. got their third goal just three minutes later.

Paul closed off her hat trick off in the 82nd minute for a three goal lead.

Marissa Bramwell (Norton, Mass.) had seven saves in net for Stonehill who fall to 3-4-1 on the season.

The Skyhawks next take to action when they host Franklin Pierce on Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 pm.
