Skyhawks Drop Second Straight

Manchester, N.H. – The Skyhawks
couldn’t recover after trailing by two goals and fell to
Southern New Hampshire 4-1, to lose their second straight game.
The Penman got on the board early with Sophia St. Paul scoring the
first of her three goals on the evening.
Stonehill countered with six corner kicks in the first, but
wasn’t able to get anything past keeper Stef Young as the
half ended 1-0.
Five minutes into the second half Paul got on the board again to
give Southern N.H. a two goal lead.
Freshman Alexandra Murphy (Weymouth, Mass.) cut
the Penman lead in half 14 minutes later, however it would be short
lived as Southern N.H. got their third goal just three minutes
later.
Paul closed off her hat trick off in the 82nd minute for a three
goal lead.
Marissa Bramwell (Norton, Mass.) had seven saves
in net for Stonehill who fall to 3-4-1 on the season.
The Skyhawks next take to action when they host Franklin Pierce on
Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 pm.
