Easton, Mass. - Junior midfielder Kelly Regan (Mansfield, Mass.) was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team and freshman forward Alex Murphy (Weymouth, Mass.) was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team as announced by the conference on Friday.

Regan started all 18 games for the Skyhawks this season and finished fifth on the team with five points, including a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win over Pace, though her impact lay beyond just statistics according to coach Rolando Lopes.

"Kelly's award is very well deserved.  She is a leader, unsung star, and a symbol of perseverance on the field. I am glad that my peers recognized it and selected her."

Murphy meanwhile started 14 games for Stonehill and scored a team high seven goals to go  along with an assist to finish with 15 points on the season.  She also was one of two players two have two goals in a game this season.

"Alex in her first year didn't just score some goals but imposed respect and fought hard to turn things around for us," said coach Rolando Lopes.  "It's well deserved and it represents the accomplishment of the freshmen group and their immediate contribution to the program."

The Skyhawks finished their season 4-13-1 and 3-9-1 in NE-10 play.
