MANCHESTER, N.H.-- Junior Alex Eckhardt (Marshfield, Mass.) made one save to record her fifth shutout of the season as Stonehill and Southern New Hampshire played to a scoreless double overtime Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer tie Saturday afternoon at Larkin Field.

The two teams combined for just 13 shots in the contest, with both having solid scoring chances in each half of action. Eckhardt picked up her 10th career shutout in the process for the visiting Skyhawks (5-3-4, 4-3-4 Northeast-10), who remain tied for seventh in the league standings with the draw after playing their third scoreless tie of the season.

Sophomore Stef Young (Natick, Mass.) also made one save in goal for the host Penmen (3-4-6, 2-4-5 Northeast-10), who held a 9-4 edge in shots for the match.

Stonehill will be idle until next Saturday afternoon when the Skyhawks host Pace in a Northeast-10 outing at Skyhawk Field that begins at 2:00 p.m., while Southern New Hampshire heads to Colchester, Vt. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Saint Michael's in a Northeast-10 match that begins at 3:00 p.m.
