Kelly, Kuz-Dworzak Take NE-10 Honors 

Easton, Mass. - Senior All-American Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Co-Player of the Week while freshman Leyla Kuz-Dworzak (Norwalk, Conn.) was named the NE-10 Freshman of the Week for their performances last week, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. 

Kelly scored 12 goals and dished out 11 assists in three games last week for the Skyhawks.  In her first game of the season she scored six goals and had two assists in a 21-9 win over St. Anselm.  The senior followed up that performance by dishing out a school record eight assists to go along with three goals in a 26-4 drubbing of Southern Conn. St. 

In the first game of her college career, Kuz-Dworzak scored six goals and had an assist in a 21-9 win over St. Anselm.  For the week she scored 10 goals and dished out one assist for 11 points. 

Also receiving conference honors were senior goalie Justine Ferland (Portsmouth, N.H.) and senior Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) who were both named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll. 

The Skyhawks, currently ranked seventh in the latest IWCLA poll return to action on Thursday when they host American International at 3:00.
