Easton, Mass. - Two days after claiming their tenth consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season title, the Stonehill College Women's Lacrosse team (12-2, 10-0 Northeast-10 Conference) will hit the road to take on the reigning national champions the C.W. Post Pioneers.  The Pioneers, who are currently ranked first on the IWLCA/Under Armour National Poll for Division II, are 14-0 overall, 6-0 at home.  The Skyhawks, the sixth ranked Division II team in the nation, are 5-0 as the visiting team this season.

The Skyhawks have won two of their final three road games heading into Sunday's showdown with the Pioneers. Contributions from sophomore Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y./Shaker), junior Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) and senior Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) led to Stonehill's hot week.  The trio has combined for 23 scores and seven assists in their two wins against American International and Saint Michael's College.  As the regular season comes to a close, Kelly leads all major offensive categories, including goals (51), assists (26) and total points (77).

C.W. Post has two 40-plus goal scorers in Katie Hogan and Jaclyn Napoli.  Their efforts are complimented by Jenna Miller, who has 51 assists and 79 total points.  Like the Skyhawks, the Pioneers have rolled past Northeast-10 Opponents, averaging 19.4 goals in their seven contests, compared to Stonehill's 18.4 goals scored in their 10-0 Conference season.

C.W. Post leads the all-time series between the two schools.  The Pioneers are 7-5 headed into Sunday's match up, having outscored the Skyhawks 121-117.  Last season, despite three goals from Kelly, the Skyhawks fell 11-8 in their regular season finale.

The contest is scheduled for Sunday at C.W. Post.  Game time is 1:00 p.m.
