Easton, Mass. -
Junior attacker Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y./Saint Anthony's) found the back of the net four times in Stonehill's 19-2 win over the Assumption College Greyhounds (1-12, 1-7 Northeast-10 Conference).  The Stonehill College Skyhawks (9-2, 7-0 Northeast-10 Conference) cruised past the Greyhounds, increasing their 14-point halftime lead with four second-half goals.  The win is the program's 75th straight Conference victory and the eighth time this season the Skyhawks have scored over 15 goals.

Maloney led the way for the Skyhawks, claiming three scores in the first half to stop Assumption before they even got started.  Her lone score in the second half gave the Purple and White a 15-goal lead.

Junior Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham), senior Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and freshman Kathryn Ford (Brookhaven, N.Y./Bellport) each added three scores in the offensive explosion.  Kelly added three assists to lead all Skyhawks with six total points.

Darrell moved into second place on Stonehill College's All-Time scoring list with a goal 1:45 into the game.  Her 222 career markers put her just five tallies away from Erin Acone's 227 career mark.    Darrell is averaging 3.09 goals-per-game with four regular season games remaining.

Goaltenders Amanda McGeachey (Saco, Maine/Thornton) and Justine Ferland (Portsmouth, N.H./Pinkerton) each allowed one goal in their 30 minutes of action.  McGeachey recorded one save on Erin Gombos' free-position shot in the first.

Four days after finishing 0-7 in free-position shots against Adelphi, the Skyhawks scored on six of their nine free-position opportunities on Wednesday.

Darrell, McGeachey and Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) will participate in their last home game this Saturday when the Skyhawks host Southern Conn.  The game is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at W.B. Mason Stadium.
