MANCHESTER, N.H.-- Junior All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.) notched six goals and four assists for her second 10-point performance of the season to lift fourth-ranked Stonehill to its 62nd straight Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse victory with a 21-9 league triumph over Southern New Hampshire Saturday afternoon at Larkin Field.

The visiting Skyhawks (8-0, 4-0 Northeast-10), who improved to 74-1 all-time in league play with the win, overcame a 6-5 lead that the host Penmen (3-2, 2-1 Northeast-10) had built with 12 minutes remaining in the opening half of action by scoring seven of the next eight goals before intermission en route to a 12-7 advantage at the break. Stonehill, which at one point scored eight unanswered tallies over a 19-plus minute stretch and 12 of 13 goals in just under 27 minutes of action, received markers from five different individuals in the first 18:56 of the second half to extend its lead to 17-7 before icing its triumph with four straight tallies in less than eight minutes. In all, the Skyhawks ended the match by scoring 16 of the final 19 goals over the final 47:49 of play.

Sophomore Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.) added four goals in the win for Stonehill, which also received a hat trick and an assist each from junior Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y.) and sophomore Michelle Salmon (East Islip, N.Y.). Senior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.) added a pair of goals and two assists for the Skyhawks, who also received a pair of goals and an assist off the stick of freshman Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y.). Freshman Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) recorded three assists for the winners, who also received a single marker off the stick of sophomore Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) and single assists from sophomore Rebecca Cottam (Belmont, Mass.) and freshman Jessie Ragnio (Andover, Mass.).

Sophomore Jennifer Parro (Ipswich, Mass.) netted four goals and added two assists for six points in the setback for Southern New Hampshire, which also received a pair of goals from sophomore Libby Parent (Hinesburg, Vt.) as well as a goal and three assists off the stick of freshman Jami Shugrue (Lowell, Mass.). Sophomore Julie Kraus (Derry, N.H.) chipped in with a pair of assists on the day for the Penmen, who also received a goal and an assist each from sophomore Maura Murphy (Candia, N.H.) and Carole Lee (Derry, N.H.).

Junior Amanda McGeachey (Saco, Maine) picked up her eighth win of the season in goal for Stonehill with a five-save effort, while graduate student Lisa McEachern (Scituate, Mass.) made 12 stops in net for Southern New Hampshire as the Skyhawks outshot the Penmen by a 34-16 margin for the match.

Stonehill hosts Bryant in a Northeast-10 outing on Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 3:30 p.m., while Southern New Hampshire heads to Colchester, Vt. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Saint Michael's in a Northeast-10 match-up at 4:00 p.m.
