EASTON, Mass.-- Hat tricks off the sticks of junior All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.), sophomore Kristyn Gramzow (Billerica, Mass.) and freshman Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y.) propelled third-ranked Stonehill to its 67th straight Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse victory and the program's seventh all-time shutout with a 19-0 league triumph over American International Tuesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

The host Skyhawks (15-0, 9-0 Northeast-10), now 79-1 all-time in conference play, raced out to a 12-0 advantage at the break and received goals from 10 different players en route to their second shutout of the season, as Darrell and Gramzow each added an assist to finish with four points for the winners. Senior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.) and sophomore Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) chipped in with a pair of goals and three assists for five points each for Stonehill, which also received a goal and three assists from sophomore Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.). Freshman Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) collected two goals for the Skyhawks, who also received a goal and an assist from sophomore Michelle Salmon (East Islip, N.Y.) as well as single markers each from junior Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Jaclyn Craig (Rocky Point, N.Y.) as well as an assist from sophomore Rebecca Cottam (Belmont, Mass.).

Junior Amanda McGeachey (Saco, Maine) made three saves to pick up her 15th victory and second shutout of the season for Stonehill, while senior Megan Trystman (Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa) made 12 stops in net for the visiting Yellow Jackets (1-10, 1-7 Northeast-10) as the Skyhawks outshot American International by a 35-3 margin.

The win sets up a showdown of the remaining two unbeaten teams in Division II play nationally on Friday afternoon, as Stonehill will entertain top-ranked C.W. Post (12-0) in a key non-league regional match-up at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning at 4:00 p.m. American International closes out its 2007 slate on Thursday afternoon by hosting Franklin Pierce in a Northeast-10 outing in Springfield, Mass. that also begins at 4:00 p.m.
