EASTON, Mass.-- Senior All-America Jenny McGrath (Milton, Mass.) matched her career-high with four goals and six assists for 10 points as third-ranked Stonehill claimed its 54th straight Northeast-10 Conference women's lacrosse victory with a 24-7 league triumph over Southern Connecticut Wednesday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

The host Skyhawks (10-1, 6-0 Northeast-10), winners of 37 of their last 38 matches overall dating back to April 2004, picked up their 66th win in 67 outings against conference foes, scoring the first 10 goals of the contest en route to a 14-2 advantage at the break. Senior All-America Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.) added five goals and a pair of assists for seven points for the winners, who also received a hat trick and three assists from junior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.). Freshman Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) netted a career-high four goals for Stonehill, which also received a hat trick and two assists each from sophomore All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.). Sophomore Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y.) notched a pair of goals and an assist for three points for the Skyhawks, who also received a helper from senior All-America Kate Sarkissian (Sandwich, Mass.).

Freshman Kaitlyn Janicki (Old Lyme, Conn.) netted a pair of goals and an assist for three points in the setback for the visiting Owls (2-5, 1-5 Northeast-10), which also received a pair of goals from junior Beth Gandley (Holbrook, N.Y.) as well as a marker and two assists from freshman Grace Martha (Cheshire, Conn.). Senior Cathy Cardini (Willington, Conn.) and junior Ali Ahearn (Farmingville, N.Y.) notched a goal each for Southern Connecticut, which also received an assist off the stick of junior Leatrice Westdahl (Windsor, Conn.).

Senior All-America Lauren Stone (Guilderland, N.Y.) picked up the win in goal for Stonehill with four saves over 47-plus minutes of action, as freshman Justine Ferland (Derry, N.H.) made one stop over the final 13 minutes of play. Freshman Ann Denning (Holbrook, N.Y.) posted seven saves in the setback for Southern Connecticut as the Skyhawks outshot the Owls by a 35-13 margin.

Stonehill travels to Rindge, N.H. on Saturday afternoon to take on Franklin Pierce in a Northeast-10 outing that begins at 1:00 p.m., while Southern Connecticut hosts Saint Michael's in a league match on Saturday afternoon in New Haven, Conn. that begins at 2:00 p.m.
