The host Skyhawks (6-0, 3-0 Northeast-10), winners of 51 straight conference matches dating back to April 2000, jumped out to a 12-0 lead at the half and netted the first 18 goals of the afternoon en route to improving to 64-1 all-time in Northeast-10 play, as the Skyhawks' current overall 33-match winning streak dates back to April 2004.

Sophomore All-America Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y.) added four goals and three assists for seven points in the win for Stonehill, which also received five goals and an assist from senior All-America Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.). Junior Tracey Hoffman (Nashua, N.H.) added a hat trick and two assists for five points for the Skyhawks, who also received a goal and two assists each from sophomore Christa LaRocco (West Islip, N.Y.) and freshman Mary Maloney (Great River, N.Y.) as well as a goal and an assist each from freshmen Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J.) and Michelle Salmon (East Islip, N.Y.). Freshman Michaela Rocha (Rye, N.H.) accounted for the lone goal of the afternoon for the visiting Hawks (1-4-1, 0-2 Northeast-10) with just over 11 minutes remaining in the contest.
