Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

Stonehill: Stonehill, ranked third in last week's IWLCA Division II national poll and in the top 10 for the 52nd consecutive week dating back to April 2002, clinched its sixth straight undefeated Northeast-10 regular season campaign and eighth straight league regular season title with Saturday's overtime triumph at Saint Michael's, the Skyhawks' first extra session affair since the 2001 NCAA Division II national semi-finals against C.W. Post. Saturday's victory at Saint Michael's extended Stonehill's Northeast-10 winning streak to 58 straight dating back to April 2000, as the Skyhawks are 71-1 all-time since the league's inception in 1999. Senior A Jenny McGrath (Milton, Mass.) set a pair of Stonehill assists records during the week, breaking Katie Lambert's career mark with six helpers in Tuesday's win over Assumption to now stand at 121. McGrath broke her own school single-game assists mark with seven helpers in Thursday's win over Southern New Hampshire, and she has registered four 10-point matches on the season. Senior M Erin Acone (Bow, N.H.) enters the week just three points shy of reaching the 300 career point plateau, as she would join Lambert as the only two Stonehill players to reach that mark and just the seventh player in Division II history to accomplish the feat. Senior G Lauren Stone (Guilderland, N.Y.) broke former Stonehill standout and current Skyhawk assistant coach Carissa Medeiros' career victories mark with her 43rd win in Tuesday's triumph over Assumption. Stone has notched a 45-4 career mark and is the only netminder in school history to go undefeated in Northeast-10 regular season play. The Skyhawk senior class went a perfect 39-0 in Northeast-10 regular season action during their respective careers. Stonehill closes out its regular season slate with a pair of showdowns against familiar ranked foes, as the Skyhawks travel to fourth-ranked West Chester on Thursday in a re-match of last year's NCAA national championship match. Stonehill has won its last three contests overall with the Golden Rams, with two of those triumphs coming at West Chester. The Skyhawks face a critical non-league outing on Saturday morning at second-ranked C.W. Post, as Stonehill looks for its first win in Brookville since 2000...
