Jhay Fletcher was named an assistant coach with the Stonehill College women's basketball program in June 2022.

Fletcher joins head coach Trisha Brown’s coaching staff after serving the last two years as graduate assistant coach at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, under coach Andrea Preston. She helped the Gophers recruiting efforts by serving as the program’s point of contact for the 2022 through 2024 recruits, communicating and documenting all interactions for the program. Fletcher performed individual and group workouts, planned and facilitated conditioning and created practice plans and scouting reports as assigned. She also managed the program’s social media.

Prior to joining Goucher, Fletcher was assistant varsity girls basketball coach at Bowling Green High School in Kentucky for one year. She also served as a basketball head coach with the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation for one year. Fletcher gained valuable managerial experience with I9 Sports Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland, over the last year under owner developer Ryan Ebert. She volunteered at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association men’s and women’s basketball tournament this spring, the 2018 Southeastern Conference women’s basketball tournament and 2018 NCAA Men’s Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee.

Fletcher is a 2018 graduate of University of Tennessee Southern, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human performance and was a four-year member of the Firehawks women’s basketball program. She has since added Master’s Degrees in sport administration from Western Kentucky University and athletic program leadership administration from Goucher.
