Linsey Onishuk, a former standout at Northeast-10 rival The College of St. Rose, returns for her second season on the Stonehill staff. In her first campaign, she helped guide the Skyhawks to a 22-9 mark and a spot in the NCAA East Region Championship.

During her playing career, she helped lead the Golden Knights to two NCAA Tournament appearances and a 20-win season in her senior campaign.

In eight career contests against Stonehill, Onishuk averaged 14.2 points while shooting 50 percent from the field. She scored a career-high 30 points against the Skyhawks in St. Rose's 72-66 upset win over Stonehill in the Northeast-10 Tournament semifinals in 2006.

She started 98 of the 118 games she appeared in her career, and was named a third-team Northast-10 All-Star and second-team Northeast-10 Academic All-Star in her senior season. Onishuk, who graduated in 2007 with a degree in criminal justice finished her Golden Knight career with 1,115 points.

A former Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection at Boston's Latin Academy, Onishuk is also employed in Boston Mayor Tom Menino's office.
