Former Stonehill point guard Erika Stupinski returns for her first season as assistant coach of the women's basketball program.

Stupinski helped lead Stonehill to three NCAA Tournament appearances and an NE-10 championship during her career, serving as co-captain of the 2007-08 squad that won the conference regular-season and tournament titles. She earned a WBCA All-America honorable mention for her senior season, in which she led the NE-10 with 7.9 assists per game and was named to the NE-10 All-Conference and All-East Region teams as the Skyhawks advanced to the NCAA East Region semifinals. Stupinski finished her career ranked sixth all-time at Stonehill in assists with 535.

She was also recognized for her academic record at Stonehill, earning an NE-10 Academic All-Conference selection and the NCAA National Student Academic Award.

Stupinski graduated magna cum laude from Stonehill in 2008 with a degree in business administration, and spent a year at Boston financial services firm Brown Brothers & Harriman Co. before returning to the Skyhawks. She has also coached at the AAU level, leading Foxboro's Mass Premier AAU Team to the national tournament as an assistant coach.
