Syracuse, N.Y. - Senior Courtney Correya scored 19 points and classmate Vanessa Holden registered a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds to power host LeMoyne to their third win over a nationally ranked team this year, this time handing No. 4 Stonehill a 68-60 defeat on Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Court.

The loss for the Skyhawks was their first since two day before Thanksgiving and snaps a nine-game winning streak.

The Dolphins defense held Stonehill, the Northeast-10's top shooting team, to a frigid 34 percent from the field, including a season-low 18 percent from behind the arc.

Stonehill actually led 29-19 before a pair of three-pointers from Katie Dunn answered an Emily Rousseau (Biddeford, Maine) basket to make the score 31-25 at the break.

The game changing spurt came early in the second half when the Dolphins held Stonehill scoreless for more than seven minutes and scored 14 straight points to turn a five point deficit into a nine point bulge with less than eight minutes to play.

With reserve Denise Scott (10 points in the half) providing the second half offense, LeMoyne built their lead to as many as 11 at 52-41 following a Holden triple.

The Skyhawks, who made only 1-of-10 three-pointers in the second half, eventually trimmed the Dolphin lead to four at 53-49 after a pair of Tania Williams (Setauket, N.Y.) free throws, but Correya answered with five straight points to help LeMoyne regain control.

A top of the key triple from Kelsey Simonds (Middleboro, Mass.) gave the Skyhawks life at 63-58 with 47 seconds left, but an easy layup from Scott and free throws from Correya and Holden sealed the win for the Dolphins.

Rousseau paced Stonehill with 12 points, while Williams had a career-high 10 points, five rebounds and two assists off the bench. It marked the first time this season the Skyhawks have had less than three players in double figures.

Simonds, who sat out 17 minutes of the first half due to foul trouble, finished with a season-low six points and two rebounds. Steph Pintal (Nashua, N.H.) chipped in seven points, three assists and three steals.

The Skyhawks, now 13-2 overall and 8-2 in Northeast-10 action return to the hardwood with a home contest on Wednesday against St. Michael's.
