Bird's Eye View
The No. 1 seeded Skyhawks are riding high, having won a season-best 11 games entering tonight's game against a Bentley team they swept the regular season.

You Can Count On Us
The Skyhawks and Falcons are the only two teams to appear in all 27 Northeast-10 Championship Tournaments.

Final Four Fun
Bentley and Stonehill have a combined 44 appearances in the semifinals and 28 showings in the championship game.

Only Once Before
Only in 1982-83, has the regular season champion not appeared in the championship game. Bentley earned the regular season title but it was Stonehill and St. Anselm doing battle in the championship. Behind Tournament MVP Nancy Smith, Stonehill won, 58-54.

How About This?
The back-to-back wins Stonehill collected over Bentley in the regular season marked the first time the Skyhawks had put consecutive wins together against the Falcons since they won four straight spanning the 1993-1997 seasons.

Time Sure Flies ...
11 tournaments have passed since the Skyhawks have laid claim to the postseason tournament title. In 1997, Stonehill defeated Bentley 57-48 with tournament MVP and recent Stonehill College Hall of Fame inductee, Kim Trudel carrying much of the load.

Inside The Numbers
Stonehill has stepped up its defensive efforts in their two wins over Bentley. The Skyhawks have held the Falcons to just 28 percent shooting and 43 points a game, nearly 17 points below their season average.

Maine Event
While most of the Skyhawks struggle offensively against Bentley, Erika Stupinski is averaging 12 points, 7.5 rebounds and four rebounds in the two contests against Bentley this season.

Building Blocks
Kelsey Simonds is just one block away from setting the school's all-time single season rejection mark. The 6-3 junior has 62 blocks, tied with Sue Patchett, who turned away that same number in the 1996-97 season. With 115 career blocks, Simonds is nine behind Susie Tully's second place 124 swats.

The Tighe That Binds
Bethany Tighe grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds in the 59-48 win over the Falcons on December 8.

20-20 Vision
Kelsey Simonds has twice tied her career-high of 27 points this season. She had 27 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Molloy back in November, and then matched that total with the aid of a 17-for-19 free throw performance in a late season win over Bryant.
