Indoor Season
2011-12: Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award. USTFCCCA East Region (Pole Vault). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Departmental Award - Chinese. Competed in the pole vault four times throughout the season for Stonehill. Finished third overall out of 13 competitors at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) clearing a height of 13-feet and 7.25-inches. Placed 13th overall out of 22 competitors at the Boston University Valentine Invitational (2/11/12) with a ehigh of 13-feet and 7.25-inches. Posted his highest mark of the season at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) clearing 14-feet and 0.50-inches. Finished eighth overall out of 16 competitors at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) with a height of 14-feet.
2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (fall semester). Broke his own school record at the Harvard Invitational clearing 14-feet and 5.52-inches in the pole vault. Placed in the top-10 in five out of the six events he competed in during the season. Finished sixth overall at the NE-10 championships clearing 12-feet and 11.50-inches. Earned first place honors at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (14-feet and two-inches). Posted a top-five finish at the Tufts Stampede with a 13-feet and 11.25-inches meters mark. Finished 11th overall at the Boston University Valentine Classic (12-feet and 11.50-inches).

Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's
Spring Honor Roll. Holds the school record in the
pole vault at 14-feet and 3.25-inches which he cleared twice during
the season. Posted six top-10 finishes in the pole vault during the
outdoor season highlighted by a fourth place finish at the NE-10
championships (13-feet and 11.25-inches). Placed second overall at
the UMass Minutemen Invitational (14-feet and 3.25-inches), second
at the Skyhawk Invitational (13-feet and 11.25-inches), third at
the Bryant University Invitational (14-feet), third at the George
Davis Invitational (13-feet and 11.25-inches) and 10th overall at
New England's (14-feet and 3.25-inches). Finished seventh overall
in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.59. Placed 33rd overall in
the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.13 at the Bryant University
Invitational.
High School: 2009 graduate of Masuk High School. Four-year
letterwinner for outdoor track. Earned All Conference and All
Class. Was a runner up state champion in pole vault. Holds indoor
and outdoor pole vautlt records. Won best field athlete and best
vaultor his senior year. Three-year letterwinner for swimming.
Personal: Born April 24, 1991, in Norwalk, Conn.
Son of Barbara and Kenneth McCann of Monroe, Conn. Has a sister,
Jeanne (24), who swam at Siena College. Majors in business at
Stonehill. Supports the New England Patriots. Lists Tom Brady as
favorite athlete. Lists placing 10th at New England Outdoor
Championships as his greatest sports moment so far. Completed a
semester abroad at the Beijing Center in China (Fall 2011).
