Title: Assistant Coach
College: Southern New Hampshire, '16

Katie Caruso was named an assistant coach for the Stonehill College softball program in December of 2021, joining Head Coach Ali Maloof's staff in her first season at the helm of the Skyhawks.

Caruso joined Stonehill after seven seasons at Southern New Hampshire University, four as a standout student-athlete and three as an assistant coach.

One of the most feared hitters in the Northeast-10 Conference during her tenure in Manchester, Caruso helped lead the Penmen to a pair of NCAA Division II East Regional crowns and two trips to the NCAA Division II East Super Regional. She finished her career third all-time in program history in hits (168), second in doubles (34), third in RBI (104), fifth in runs scored (86) and seventh in home runs (19). A 2015 All-Northeast-10 Conference selection, Caruso also graduated with the highest fielding percentage in school history.

During her four seasons at Southern New Hampshire, the Penmen won four-straight Northeast-10 Conference Northeast Division titles, advanced to three consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Tournament finals and won back-to-back conference championships in 2014 and 2015. Caruso was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2015 Northeast-10 Championship after batting .500 with four RBI and four runs scored in two games.
