High School: 2010 graduate of Souhegan High School. Four-year letterwinner, serving as captain her senior year. Three-time All-State performer. School's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior. Earned team's Coaches' Award her senior year, Rookie of the Year as a freshman, Most Improved Player her sophomore season and Player of the Year as a junior. Also lettered in field hockey and ice hockey, serving as team captain for both.

Personal: Born October 25, 1990, in Nashua, N.H. Daughter of Dan and Donna Gunter of Amherst, N.H. Has three brothers, Nick (22), Nate (14) and Seth (12). Has a cousin, Kristen Calvetti, who played softball at the University of Maine, and a cousin, Tyler Violette, that played men's lacrosse at Saint Michael's College. Majoring in elementary education, with a minor in sociology. Career goals include teaching in the inner city and coaching. Supports the Boston Red Sox. Lists Jacoby Ellsbury as a favorite athlete. Softball team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative.
