EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill men's tennis team notched its fifth straight victory and second straight in league play Sunday afternoon with a 9-0 Northeast-10 Conference dual-match triumph over American International at the Ames Sports Complex.

Seniors Andy DeVita (Milford, Mass.) and Al Santosuosso (Reading, Mass.), sophomore Dustin Marshall (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) and freshmen Mike Mashkevich (Framingham, Mass.) and Mike Leone (Cataumet, Mass.) were all straight set winners in singles play for the host Skyhawks (6-1, 2-0 Northeast-10). Senior Matt Grabala (Bristol, Conn.) and sophomore Jason Allegretti (Lincoln, R.I.) teamed up for an 8-1 win at number one doubles, while junior Michael Allen (Norwell, Mass.) and sophomore Will Herchel (Hampden, Mass.) posted an 8-0 triumph at number two doubles. The hosts earned default wins at number six singles and number three doubles as well.

The visiting Yellow Jackets fall to 0-3 both overall and in Northeast-10 play.

Stonehill heads to Manchester, N.H. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Southern New Hampshire in a Northeast-10 dual-match that begins at 4:00 p.m., while American International hosts Post in a non-league dual-match on Wednesday afternoon in Springfield, Mass. beginning at 3:30 p.m.
