EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill men's tennis team closed out its regular season slate on Thursday afternoon by dropping a 9-0 non-league dual-match decision to regional power Queens (N.Y.) on the Stonehill Courts.

Seniors Andrey Vasiliev (Novosibirsk, Russia) and Ricardo Yepes (Bogota, Colombia), juniors Jimmy Delevante (Commack, N.Y.) and Wojciech Stuchlik (Pszczyna, Poland) and sophomore William Almeyda each posted wins in both singles and doubles play on the day for the visiting Knights (15-2), who also received a singles triumph from senior Costas Efstathiou (Bayside, N.Y.). Delevante teamed up with senior Alfredo Perez (Caracas, Venezuela) for the final Queens point at number three doubles. The Knights host Bloomsburg in a non-league match on Saturday afternoon in Flushing, N.Y. that begins at Noon.

The host Skyhawks finish the regular season at 14-4 overall, as Stonehill will be seeded second in the upcoming Northeast-10 Conference championships and will face seventh-seeded Pace in league quarterfinal round action Wednesday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts.
