Played in 16 matches, starting 15 for the Skyhawks. Scored a goal
and dished out an assist. Scored the second goal in a 3-3 draw with
Northeast-10 regular season co-champion UMass-Lowell. Registered 16
shots on the season.
2007:
Played in all 18 games as a freshman. Started 13. Had two goals and
an assist for five total points. Registered the assist on Shaun
Keeley's game-winning goal in overtime against Goldey-Beacom.
Scored twice to break 1-1 tie against Bryant.
High School:
2007 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Four-time letterwinner.
Won varsity letters for soccer, basketball and track, serving as
captain for both soccer and basketball. Received Mayflower
All-League honors for soccer three times. Named all-state and
league Most Valuable Player his senior year. Two time Patriot
Ledger All-Scholastic athlete. Voted team Most Valuable Player.
Named Brockton Enterprise Player of the Week twice for basketball,
once for soccer. Fifth leading goal scorer in Massachusetts state
history with 103 goals. Led team to four playoff berths. Advanced
to state semifinals sophomore year. Valedictorian of his high
school class. Member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor
Society.
Personal:
Born on April 30, 1989 in Burlington Vt. Son of Garry and
Michele Hebert of Rockland, Mass. Father, Garry, is the Head Coach
for the Stonehill Ice Hockey team. Tyler has one older brother,
Derek (24), who also attended Stonehill. Supports the Boston
Celtics. Lists Michael Jordan as his favorite athlete.
