Hourihan's second tally of the game gave the hosts a 3-0 lead but the Hawks answered back with a goal from Sara Sterling at 28:17.

Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) found the back of the cage for the only scoring in the second half at 39:23.

Stonehill controlled the ball for long stretches of the match, evidenced by their 19 penalty corners and 23 shots.

St. Anselm goalkeeper Riley Haddock kept her squad in the game for most of the first half, turning away eight shots in the first 35 minutes. She finished with 14 stops, while Courtney Osier (South Dennis, Mass.) needed to make only two saves to collect her sixth win of the season.
