Easton, Mass. - Junior Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.) set two new school records as she and the No. 9 Skyhawks rolled to a 6-2 win over visiting Merrimack on Thursday afternoon at W.B. Mason Stadium.

Hourihan scored two goals, giving her 18 for the season, surpassing the old school mark of 17 set by Caitlin Gleason '08, in 2004. Her 42 points, top the single season mark of 39 Gleason accumulated in 2004.

After Merrimack took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Kelly Pasquantonio, Hourihan responded with two goals, less than five minutes apart - the second being the new school mark.

Stonehill, which sits in fourth place in the Northeast-10 standings, then got two goals from sophomore Lindsey Pinkham (Skowhegan, Maine) to push the Skyhawk advantage to 4-1 early in the second half.

Sophomore Amber Travers (Hopkinton, N.H.) added her first career goal before Sibohan Minor cut into the lead with her tally at 55:07.

Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) notched her career-high seventh goal of the season with less than three minutes remaining to close out the scoring.

Senior Sara Piper (Hollis, N.H.), who got the start on Senior Day, made one save in her 35 minutes of action to collect her first career win.

Stonehill returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Franklin Pierce to take on the Ravens at 12 p.m.
