North Easton, Mass. - Bryant goalkeeper Kundayi Mawema made 14 saves to post her fourth shutout of the season and Stonehill failed to score a goal for the first time in 28 games, as the Bulldogs earned a 1-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

The last time Stonehill was shutout was a 2-0 loss to Assumption on October 4, 2006.

The game's lone tally came courtesy of a penalty corner which was converted by Julie Kuchyt with under five minutes left to play in the first half.

Stonehill had one of their best chances to score with 12 minutes left in the contest but Mawema turned away back-to-back shots by Caitlin Gleason (New Boston, N.H.).

Dani Ryder (Gloucester, Mass.) made four saves for the Skyhawks, including a sliding save on a Bryant breakaway midway through the second half.

Now at 13-4 and 10-3 in Northeast-10 action, Stonehill plays its final home game of the season on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
