Stonehill sophomore field hockey standout Dani Ryder has been named as the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for her efforts in Stonehill’s season-opening 3-0 victory at Mansfield this past Saturday.

Ryder made four saves in 66-plus minutes of action to pick up her 10th career shutout for the Skyhawks, who opened their season with a win over the Mountaineers of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference for the second straight year.

Junior All-America Kelly Latendresse and sophomore Aly Boulis earned spots on this week’s Northeast-10 weekly honor roll for their efforts in Saturday’s win. Latendresse scored a pair of goals in the triumph, while Boulis accounted for the other tally of the day.

Stonehill opens its Northeast-10 schedule on Wednesday afternoon (August 31st) with the first-ever event at W.B. Mason Stadium, as the Skyhawks host league foe Saint Anselm in a conference match that begins at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
