SMITHFIELD, R.I.-- Sophomore Aly Boulis (Lincoln, R.I.) scored a pair of goals to lead seventh-ranked Stonehill to a 3-1 Northeast-10 Conference field hockey victory over Bryant Sunday afternoon at the Bryant Field Hockey Complex.

The two teams played a scoreless first half before sophomore Caroline Carr (Wrentham, Mass.) gave the host Bulldogs (3-8, 2-7 Northeast-10) a 1-0 edge just 4:35 into the second half on a feed from fellow sophomore Courtney O’Brien (Tewksbury, Mass.). Boulis evened matters for the visiting Skyhawks (8-2, 6-2 Northeast-10) in the 50th minute of action on an assist from fellow sophomore Brittany Dibble (Troy, N.Y.), and junior Courtney Campbell (Reading, Mass.) followed just 2:53 later with what proved to be the game-winning tally on a feed from junior All-America Kelly Latendresse (Sidney, Maine). Boulis then took a pass from senior Julie Michalos (Norwood, Mass.) with four minutes remaining in the contest to provide an insurance marker for Stonehill, which has won four straight overall.

Sophomore Dani Ryder (Gloucester, Mass.) picked up the win in goal for Stonehill with a four-save effort, while sophomore Kasey Kortz (Louisville, Ky.) made a pair of stops in net for Bryant as the Skyhawks outshot the Bulldogs by a 9-6 margin for the match.

Stonehill travels to Manchester, N.H. on Tuesday afternoon to take on Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 outing that begins at 4:00 p.m., while Bryant hosts third-ranked Bentley in a Northeast-10 match on Tuesday afternoon at the Bryant Field Hockey Complex that also begins at 4:00 p.m.
