Primary Recruiting Areas: New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey (Mercer & Middlesex Counties North)

Zachary Sparber is in his first year as an assistant coach at Stonehill College. He will serve as position coach for the Skyhawks defensive line as well as the team's academic coordinator.

Sparber joins the coaching staff at Stonehill following a standout playing career at Brown University. He earned second team All-Ivy honors as a defensive lineman following the 2014 season, also collecting the team's Lawrence Rubida "Iron Man" Award and "Bill Perry" Defensive Lineman Award. Due to an injury during his senior season, he became a member of the Bears' defensive staff as an assistant defensive line coach.

As a student assistant coach at Brown, Sparber was a member of the coaching box team on game days, while helping prepare the scout offense during the week. He also worked as an intern in the football office during the summer of 2015, assisting with recruiting evaluations and the Phil Estes Camp. Sparber was the founding director of the Lineman Clinic through New Image Camp Pocono Trails in Reeders, Pennsylvania.

Sparber, a Norwood, New Jersey, native, earned his Bachelor's Degree from Brown in Business and Entreprenuership.
