2010: NE-10 Commissioner's and Athletic Director's Honor Rolls
spring semester. Appeared in eight games. Converted
21-of-25 (84%) extra point attempts and was 3-for-5 (60%) on field
goal attempts. Made field goals of 27, 37 and 39 yards and finished
tied for second on the team with 30 points. Averaged 52 yards on 20
kickoffs (1,040 total yards) with one touchback and four out of
bounds. Converted a 27 and career-best 39 yard field goal while
going a perfect 5-for-5 on extra point attempts in win over Pace
(9/10). Kicked a 37 yard field goal and converted all four extra
points against Merrimack (9/24). Averaged a season-best 58.2 yards
(291 total) on five kickoffs and also converted all four extra
points against New Haven (10/2).
2009: Appeared in
nine games. Used just for kickoffs, averaged 54.2 yards on 35
kickoffs (1,896 total yards) with one touchback. Also chipped in
with two tackles (one solo). Averaged 53 yards (424 yards) on a
season-high eight kickoffs, adding two tackles (one solo) in win at
NCAA I FCS Wagner (9/5). Posted a season-best 61.2 yard average on
four kickoffs (245 yds) with a touchback at Merrimack (9/18).
Averaged 58.8 yards (535 yards) on four kickoffs at New Haven
(9/26). Had six kickoffs for an average of 52.2 yards (313 total)
in win over Saint Anselm (10/24).
High School: 2009
graduate of Masconomet High School. Four year letterwinner for
coach James Pugh. Earned Cape Ann League All-Star honors. Selected
to and started the Agganis Bowl following his senior year. His
first career field goal was a gamewinner with 18-seconds remaining
in the fourth quarter.

Born September 17, 1990, in Boston, Mass. Son of Laura and David
Salvo of Middleton, Mass. Has a sister, Vanessa (17). Majoring in
biology. Plans to pursue a career in the medical field. Supports
the New England Patriots. Lists Dustin Pedroia as a favorite
athlete.
