Press Release

North Easton, Mass. - Senior Sean Donahue (Plymouth, N.H.) and junior Kevin Bonnett (Manchester, N.H.) both were named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Second Team it was announced recently.

Bonnett, a Business concentrator, is making his first appearance on the all-district squad after being named to the Northeast-10's Academic All-Conference squad two years in a row. A key member of a much improved Skyhawk defense that is yielding only 19 points per game and is second in the country in turnover margin at +17, Bonnett has 17 total tackles, three for loss including two sacks and two fumble recoveries.

Donahue, a starter in the defensive backfield for the first five contests before an injury, he recorded 20 tackles and two pass breakups. An Education major, with a minor in mathematics, he served as the team's primary punter and kicker, and his 39.5 average was leading the Northeast-10. He was also four-for-five on field goals with his only miss coming from 43 yards.

The Plymouth, N.H. native, a ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honoree a season ago, was Stonehill's lone all-conference representative in 2006.

The team consists of Division I players from schools in New England and New York who have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average, have reached their sophomore years, and have legitimate athletic credentials. Voting is conducted by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
