2015: NE-10 All-Conference third team selection. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll spring semester. Made 13 appearances, while making eight starts for Stonehill during his junior campaign. Posted a 7-1 record and a 2.90 ERA in 59.0 innings pitched. Surrendered 27 runs (19 earned) on 50 hits to go with 38 strikeouts and 15 walks, while holding batters to a .237 batting average. Made his first start of the season against Chestnut Hill in Stonehill's 12-0 win (2/22). Pitched six scoreless innings to go with two walks and three strikeouts. Tossed a complete game against Bridgeport, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out three batters (3/15). Picked up his third win of the season against Merrimack, throwing six shutout innings while striking out three (3/29). Moved to 5-0 on the season after pitching eight inningsand giving up six runs (three earned) in a 12-6 win over Assumption (4/14). Pitched seven scoreless innings against Assumption, striking out four batters in Stonehill's 12-0 win (4/28). Made his final start of the season in the NE-10 Semifinals, going five innings while surrendering three runs (two earned) to pick up the win and move to 7-1 on the season (5/8).

2014: Made four appearances, all starts, for Stonehill during his sophomore season. Posted a 2-1 record and a 4.58 ERA in 19.2 innings. Gave up 14 runs (10 earned) on 22 hits to go with 12 strikeouts and five walks, while holding opponents to a .282 batting average. Made his first start of the season at Rollins on 3/11. Took the loss after going five innings and allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits to go with five strikeouts. Went a season-high 6.1 frames against Pace on 4/6, earning the win after giving up one run and striking out three. Collected his second win in as many starts on 4/13 against Saint Anselm after lasting 5.2 innings and allowing two earned runs. Did not earn a decision in his final start of the season against Bentley, a contest Stonehill eventually won, 8-6 (4/22).

2013: Saw action in eight games for Stonehill during his freshman season. Posted a 1-1 record with one save, a 6.35 ERA, and seven strikeouts in 17.0 innings. Gave up one earned run or fewer in seven of his eight games during the season. Claimed his first career win during his first collegiate outing, a 2.0-inning hitless and scoreless relief appearance during Stonehill’s 9-2 win over Mercyhurst. Struck out one batter and held the Southern New Hampshire University Penmen hitless in a scoreless inning of relief (3/30/13). Notched a career-high three strikeouts in 2.2 innings of relief in a 4-2 loss to Le Moyne College (4/6/13). Made his third scoreless appearance of the season when he held Bentley to a single hit over 1.1 innings in a 7-2 loss (4/10/13). Earned his first career save when he tossed 1.2 innings of scoreless baseball in a 10-6 win over UMass Lowell (4/16/13).

High School: Two-sport athlete at Middleboro High School (baseball & ice hockey). Captained the hockey team as the team's starting goaltender. During his senior baseball season he posted a 7-1 record with a 1.33 ERA and earned Patriot League All-Star status.

Personal: Born on June 17, 1994 in Boston, Mass. Son of Joseph and Maureen Nicholson of Middleboro, Mass. Has a younger sister, Olivia (17). Chose Stonehill for its beautiful campus and its short distance to home. Enjoys golfing and fishing in his free time. Lists the Chicago Cubs as his favorite team and Sean Newcomb as his favorite athlete.
