High School: 2010 graduate of Gloucester High School. 2010 Boston Globe Male Athlete of the Year. Served as team captain senior year. Named Division I Player of the Year and Conferance MVP. Also earned All-State and All-Conference honors junior and senior year. Holds the record for batting average at Gloucester. Boston Globe and Boston Herald 2010 All-Scholastic player. Also lettered in Football and Ice Hockey earning Boston Globe and Boston Herald 2010 All-Scholastic player for football.

Personal: Born on January 29th, 1992 in Salem, Mass. Son of Don Ressel and Suzanne Geoffrey of Rockport, Mass. Has one sister, Brady (25). Enjoys fishing. Supports the New England Patriots and his favorite athlete is Bo Jackson.
