High School:  2006 graduate of Mashpee High School. Four-year letterwinner in football, basketball and baseball, serving as captain for all three teams. Earned all-league and All-Cape honors for baseball in 2005 and 2006.  Holds school record for career RBI's. Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Born on August 20, 1988 in Boston, Mass. Son of Ed and Bonnie Skane of Mashpee, Mass. Has one brother, Jim (20). Majors in history and minors in jounalism at Stonehill. Father, Ed, played baseball at the College of the Holy Cross. Supports the Boston Red Sox. Lists Bo Jackson as favorite athlete. Completed an internship with Arnold Worldwide in Boston, Mass. for the spring 2010 semester.
