Jarod Minassian joined the Athletic Communications team at Stonehill College in August 2023. He will serve as the primary contact for men's basketball, volleyball, men's and women's cross country and track & field, and softball.

Prior to joining the Skyhawks, Minassian most recently worked at the University of New Hampshire where he served as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications for the Wildcats. Beginning in December 2022, he was the primary contact for men's basketball, volleyball, men's and women's cross country, and track & field.

Minassian also worked at Suffolk University in Boston, Mass. where he was a Graduate Assistant in the Sports Information office from Fall 2021 - December 2022. Minassian contributed to the overall mission and goals of the athletic department while producing and promoting content for the Rams’ 19 varsity sports teams. 

While at Suffolk, Minassian earned his master's degree in Communications with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising.

He spent his four years of undergraduate school at UNH, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Studies along with a minor in Business Administration. During his time at UNH, Minassian completed internships with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Positive Coaching Alliance, and UNH Athletic Communications. 

In the winter of 2019, he was named the Director of Communications for the East Atlantic Gymnastics League. As an undergraduate student, he produced the conferences' social media content, weekly newsletters, weekly/yearly awards, and managed the website for the six Division I member institutions.

A native of Derry, N.H., Minassian was elected to the initial executive board for the UNH Sport Careers Club as a freshman, engaging undergraduate and graduate students with professionals in the sports industry through networking, workshops, and guest speakers. He became vice-president of the club and helped facilitate the largest student-run event in the history of the College of Health and Human Services at UNH. The inaugural UNH Sport Industry Conference and Career Fair hosted over 150 attendees comprised of students and professionals within the sports industry.
