Paula Sullivan has been involved in women's sports and women's basketball, in particular, for the past three decades at Stonehill.  During the 80's, Paula's talented, well-coached teams won over 200 games, including three NE-10 Conference Championships.  She joined the 300-victory club for women's basketball coaches in 1989.  She is ranked second nationally by the NCAA in Division II for the most victories by a women's basketball coach.  She was selected conference coach of the year three times and three times was selected All-District Coach by the women's basketball coaches.  In 1987, Paula's team established a Stonehill record 27-win season and followed that with a 25-win season the next winter.  Paula, an Easton resident, has the longest-standing tenure of any Stonehill coach.  She currently serves as Athletic Director and interim commissioner of the Northeast-10 Conference.   A native of Braintree, Mass., Paula captained the Lady Bears at Bridgewater State College.  Before coming to Stonehill, she coached high school basketball at Coyle and Cassidy High School in Taunton.  She has established standards of excellence for Stonehill's women's basketball that are envied by other Division II coaches and programs.
